Wrath of Kings: The Mighty Taur

Those of you might recognize the concept art from the Wrath of Kings Kickstarter and it looks like the resin demo pieces were being shown at Gencon so here are pictures of the original sculpt...

Sculpted in Fimo, greenstuff along with aluminum rod, pewter tubing and metal chain.

The Others - 7 Sins: Wrath

Edit: Since MR. Adrien Smith has posted the art for this guy on his Facebook account, https://www.facebook.com/artofadriansmith I'll post the picture here so you guys can see it too. This was the art I worked off of to make this figure. Daunting, yes?

Since Gencon is now over and pictures have been leaked I can finally show some pictures of some of the projects I've been working on the past year. I got sent the artwork for this guy around August of last year I think and was blown away to find out I'd be working from art by Adrien Smith! I mean, that's like a totally incredible thing for me. I've enjoyed his work for years, practically decades and when I was just beginning to sculpt had always wanted to do figures of GWAR after seeing the cover to Violence Has Arrived.
I'm guessing Mr. Remy Tremblay was taking a break because I can't think of any other plausible reason why they would trust me with this. He's done an amazing job on all the other figures for the line and if you want to see the "greens" for those figures check out his blog...

Anyway, here are some pictures of the sculpt. I'll see if everybody is OK with me posting the original art and the paint job on the studio figure is by Mr. Vincent Fontaine.

Figure was sculpted in Fimo and for once it's not blue.
